Tips on Feeling Young
1. Stop worrying about what others think. Confidence is a quality that both men and women find sexy, and when we exude it, it makes others attracted to finding out what's behind that fabulous positive energy. The only way to feel confident, however, is to be your authentic self, no apologies.
2. Smile and laugh a lot. When we're younger, we have fun, we play, and we have a carefree feeling. Tap into those feelings, they're not only reserved for children. Watch funny movies, laugh with your friends, and be friendly - these things take up the space that you may be directed towards worrying, over-analyzing, and regretting. Try to live in the moment and make the best of what's going on around you.
3. Emphasize your positive traits. Many of us tend to fixate on a particular physical trait or quality we don't like about ourselves. We think, "If only I didn't have this or could fix that, my life would be better." What makes our lives better is when we focus on our positive traits. Think of the things that make you happy and proud to be you. This could be anything from a great set of legs to how you treat your friends. The key is to access that feeling and carry it with you, instead of wallowing and whining about what we can't change.
4. Stay in touch. Just because you're getting older doesn't mean you should stop being connected to the world and what's going on around you. Generation gaps happen when we stop paying attention to the present and future by staying stuck in the past. The bottom line is, that time is not going to stop, things change, so embrace it instead of being scared or wary about it. This goes for anything from learning about technology to getting an updated look. Stay in the game!
